Abstract | The 22nd International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT) Transplant Registry Report summarizes data from pediatric lung and combined heart-lung transplant recipients and their donors for transplants that occurred through June 30, 2018. This year’s report focuses on an overall theme of donor and recipient size match. In addition to reporting key data for pediatric lung and heart-lung transplant recipients, we report transplant types, historical trends, geographic associations, indications, donor and recipient characteristics, and transplant outcomes including rejection burden, bronchiolitis obliterans syndrome (BOS), and survival for transplant recipients associated with donor and recipient size match. The full Registry slide set available online provides more detail, additional analyses, and other information not included in this printed report. |
