Shawn O’Connor is a Program Manager for the Infectious Disease Epidemiology research group at the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness (CPCE) at CHOP. Shawn assists the group in the management of its research portfolio and staffing. He is also the project manager of the NIAID-funded SCOUT study, investigating the efficacy of short-course versus standard-course antibiotic therapy in the in the treatment of urinary tract infections in children.
Prior to joining the CPCE, Shawn worked in the Division of Sleep Medicine at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from Boston University.
