Muida Menon is a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator working with the Infectious Diseases research team at the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness (CPCE) at CHOP.
Muida came to Philadelphia in 1998 as an Exercise Science/Kinesiology student at Temple. After earning her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, Muida moved on to a Bachelors of Nursing Program at Drexel University. After completing her degree at Drexel, Muida worked as a Pediatric Nurse in various Critical Care Units as well as the ED and Medical Surgical Units at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. Following her many years of clinical experience Muida served as a Clinical Research Nurse on the landmark multi-site inpatient pediatric residency research communication and patient safety research study, The I-PASS Study (Accelerating Safe Sign-outs) before coming to CPCE. Muida works on several projects with the ID Epi research group including SCOUT, SCOUT- CAP, and the Zosyn study.
