Mitchelle Matesva

Clinical Research Coordinator

Mitchelle Matesva is a clinical research coordinator working with CPCE core faculty member Richard Aplenc, MD, PhD, MSCE on a multi-site study funded by the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) that is aimed at comparing clinician and patient/family-centered outcomes relevant to the care of pediatric Acute Myeloid Leukemia during periods of neutropenia.

Prior to joining Dr. Aplenc’s team, Mitchelle worked as a research student under CPCE core faculty member Elizabeth Lowenthal, MD, MSCE doing research involving adolescents with HIV/AIDS in southern Africa. Mitchelle received her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Pennsylvania in 2017.
