Maitry Sonagra, MPH

Clinical Research Coordinator

Maitry is a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness (CPCE) and the Center for Amplified Musculoskeletal Pain Syndrome (AMPS) within the Division of Rheumatology. She works with Dr. Sabrina Gmuca and Dr. David D. Sherry on AMPS research aimed at improving an understanding of the etiologic factors important in the development of this chronic non-inflammatory musculoskeletal pain syndromes as well as advancing multidisciplinary, non-pharmacologic treatment strategies to positively impact the lives of youth with chronic pain as well as their families.

 

Maitry received her MPH with a concentration in Epidemiology from Drexel University in 2018. Prior to joining CHOP, she interned at Rang Technologies to gain experience on clinical data standardization using CDISC standards on oncology clinical trial data. Later, Maitry joined the Prairie Education and Research Cooperative at St. John’s Hospital as a research data analyst to provide statistical support for cardiovascular research focusing on improving long-term outcome in STEMI patients. Prior to pursuing her master’s degree, she completed her bachelor’s in Dental Surgery in 2014 from India.
