Kate Fitzpatrick is a Clinical Research Assistant at the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness (CPCE) at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). She works with Gregory Tasian, MD, MSc, MSCE on research that largely focuses on kidney stone disease. Specifically, she coordinates a case-control study examining how one’s diet, antibiotic use, and gut microbiome influence the development of kidney stones.
Kate spent the summer before her senior year in college working as a summer research intern with Dr. Tasian’s team. She graduated from Cornell in May 2019 with a BS in Biology and Society before coming to work at CHOP full time.
