Joyce Chang, MD, MSCE
Joyce Chang, MD, MSCE is a core faculty member at the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness (CPCE) at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), an attending physician in the Division of Rheumatology, and an assistant professor of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.She completed fellowship in Pediatric Rheumatology at CHOP and received a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Chang completed her internship and residency in Pediatrics at CHOP after receiving her MD from the Perelman School of Medicine and an AB in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard University. Her research focuses include determining how children and teens with lupus use healthcare, and ways to prevent long-term problems from lupus/Mixed Connective Tissue Disease (MCTD), such as heart disease.
