Guy I. Sydney, MD, is a visiting researcher at the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness (CPCE) at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

Guy I. Sydney, MD, is a visiting researcher working with the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Epidemiology and Antimicrobial Stewardship (Pediatric IDEAS) research group at the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness (CPCE) at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). He works on several research projects with Dr. Kathleen Chiotos, Dr. Kevin Downes and Dr. Brian Fisher.

Dr. Sydney attended medical school at the European University Cyprus School of Medicine, where he graduated summa cum laude and as class valedictorian. Prior to starting medical school, he served for several years as a combat paramedic in the Israeli military while also participating in and coordinating humanitarian missions as well as overseeing emergency medicine education and training.
