Despoina Galetaki is a visiting researcher working with the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Epidemiology and Antimicrobial Stewardship (IDEAS) research group at the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness (CPCE) at CHOP. She received her Medical diploma from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. Her research interests include opportunistic and viral infections in immunocompromised patients. She has been working on various different projects with the IDEAS group including the PEACE study, the Zosyn study, and studies about Adenovirus and CMV infections. Despoina aspires to become a pediatrician, and possibly specialize in Infectious Diseases.
