Andrew Johnson is a Clinical Research Assistant at the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness (CPCE) and PolicyLab at CHOP. Andrew works with Dr. Alexander Fiks and The Possibilities Project on studies that aim to improve pediatric influenza vaccination rates and develop innovative ways to deliver care in the primary care outpatient network. Before coming to CPCE & PolicyLab, Andrew worked in clinical research in CHOP’s Emergency Department.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Emory University in Anthropology, Andrew worked for Communities In Schools – the nation’s largest drop-out prevention organization – in both New Mexico and Washington, D.C. In 2016, he started the pre-med post-baccalaureate program at the University of Pennsylvania and plans to apply to medical school in the future.
