Nicolas Bamat, MD


Nicolas Bamat, MD is a Fellow in the Pediatric Hospital Epidemiology and Outcomes Research Training (PHEOT) program managed by the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness (CPCE) at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). He is also a Fellow in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at CHOP and a student in the Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology program at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Bamat completed his internship and residency at CHOP after receiving his MD from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Psychology from Williams College. His research interest is neonatal respiratory failure, and he is involved in clinical research projects on bronchopulmonary dysplasia, positive end expiratory pressure, and neonatal extracorporeal membrane oxygenation.
