Kendra Poirier is a Clinical Research Assistant at the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness (CPCE) at CHOP. Kendra works on the MAGIC study, which examines the relationships between early life antibiotic exposure, gut development, and risk of childhood obesity.
Kendra received her Bachelor of the Arts in Public Health and Biology from Franklin & Marshall College. Prior to working at CHOP, she was the 2015 Avery Fellow at the Clinic for Special Children in Strasburg, PA, where she conducted research on Plain Mennonite and Amish utilization of preventative healthcare and initiated a lead screening program.
