Joshua Bernard is a Clinical Research Assistant at the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness (CPCE) at CHOP. Josh works on a project examining the impact of financial incentives on increasing ambulation after radical cystectomy to help prevent comorbidities.
Josh received his Bachelor of Arts in Public Health Studies from Johns Hopkins University. He began working in clinical research at the Johns Hopkins Spine Outcomes Research Center, where he focused on studies that utilized novel electronic data collection systems, facilitating the exchange of information between physician and patient to produce better clinical outcomes. His research interests include behavioral economics and health technology which can improve clinical outcomes.
