Doug Hill, PhD

Behavioral Researcher

Doug Hill is a Behavioral Researcher at the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness (CPCE) at CHOP.  Doug works with Dr. Chris Feudtner on a variety of projects related to decision-making in pediatric palliative care including hopeful thinking, regoaling among parents and clinicians, concordance in perceived problems and hopes among parents and clinicians, helping parents and clinicians manage stress, mental health of siblings of children with serious illness, pain management among patients unable to communicate effectively, and clinician communication skills. Doug has also helped design and implement childhood obesity interventions at CHOP including a group-based family intervention, a primary care-based intervention, and a social media support group. Doug completed his PhD in Social Psychology at the University of Maryland, College Park.
