Charles Phillips, MD

Fellow

Charles Phillips, MD is a Fellow in the Pediatric Hospital Epidemiology and Outcomes Research Training (PHEOT) program managed by the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness (CPCE) at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He is also a fellow in Hematology/Oncology at CHOP and a student in the Master of Science in Health Policy Research (MSHP) program at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Phillips completed his internship and residency at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt after receiving his MD from Vanderbilt University and a BS in biology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. His prior research includes a novel method of imaging tumor response to radiation, and a project comparing psychological related outcomes in survivors of adult and childhood cancers. His current interest is in examining pragmatic outcomes with regards to nutritional support in pediatric oncology patients.
