Brittany Klimek is a Clinical Research Assistant working with Dr. Joanne Wood at the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness (CPCE) at CHOP. Brittany is working on a research study examining the efficacy of a parenting intervention to decrease children’s problematic behaviors while promoting positive parent-child relationships.
Brittany recently received her Bachelors of Arts in psychology from Lehigh University and plans to pursue a doctoral degree in child clinical psychology. Her research interests focus on child psychopathology, specifically in the context of childhood trauma and adversity. Brittany is primarily interested in the efficacy and effectiveness of psychosocial treatments following traumatic experiences and efforts to facilitate resiliency.
